Wimborne has been missing an Auction room for over 25 years. David Elliott (pictured left) and father John decided it was the right time to change this. With years of experience working in Auction rooms including Bonham’s, the Wimborne Saleroom was formed. Doors opened for business in December 2005 and the first Auction was a firm success. Buyers travelled miles to see the first lots fall under the hammer. The Saleroom continues to make positive steps every sale to provide quality service. In early 2008 the firm moved to a bigger sale room in Stone lane. The Saleroom continues to pride itself on being a family run firm offering many years experience in the Auction Industry.
Most recently the Company have re-branded under the family name, "Elliott's UK" The company are now covering all of Dorset and Hampshire offering national collection service for specialist items such as toys, medals and militaria etc
In January 2011 David handed over the reins of the business to his sister Suzie who along with her father and husband is taking Elliotts through into a new style of auctioneering in the form of live online auctions. With the support of family and a close group of staff Elliotts continue to provide a quality service to not only the local community but a worldwide network of clients.
